Kansas State University Olathe is moving forward and helping to achieve the university’s Next-Gen Strategic Plan. Yesterday, we launched our campus-level plan, which was developed alongside the university's planning process to ensure alignment. We were intentional about listening to input from more than 500 internal and external stakeholders and embedding engagement to ensure our plan’s foundation is solid.
Honey expert Laura Stan, Ph.D. is a visiting Fulbright scholar conducting research at K-State Olathe. Brett Bachelor and Steven Brockschmidt join K-State Olathe as student success coaches. In these roles, Bachelor and Brockschmidt will focus on building relationships with learners to support them throughout their academic journeys. They will facilitate presentations to various prospective student audiences including industry partners, student groups and professional organizations.

Animal health study abroad program launches next summer
K-State Olathe is offering a new study abroad program designed to provide students in animal health programs deeper insights into animal welfare throughout the U.K. Learners will join three Olathe faculty members on their journey as they learn about animal health abroad.

We loved spending time with the Agricultural Business Council of Kansas City this week! Bonnie Rush, D.V.M., and Ernie Minton, Ph.D., presented the latest information on key opportunities and strategic initiatives in their respective College.
