Twenty-one students are completing their degree program at Kansas State University's Olathe campus during the 2024 spring academic semester.

The Office of the Provost launched a new Academic Innovation Fund to invest up to $1 million in new academic programs and microcredentials. K-State Olathe submitted a proposal and was selected for funding.

Lab skills training provides hands-on opportunities for scientists
K-State Olathe is hosting a one-day workshop to provide entry-level, hands-on training for college and graduate students on Aug. 16. The Introduction to Basic Laboratory Skills and Contract Research Organizations workshop will provide attendees with a basic overview of lab equipment, protocols and procedures.
George Yang, Ph.D., is a professor in engineering and technology.
In this role, Yang focuses on meeting the needs of regional industries through targeted program offerings and strategic collaborations. He drives continuous improvement of the engineering technology programs.
Johnson is a communications and marketing specialist. She develops and coordinates marketing plans for K-State Olathe initiatives, including professional development programming and special events.

Innovative FEED Act, 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 26 — The regulation of feed ingredients in the United States is understood to many as being misunderstood or complicated, and policies in place for regulation of new feed additive technologies in the feed industry takes things a step further. This webinar will cover the basics of the Innovative FEED Act as well as its implications for the animal nutrition industry to improve alignment with the needs of animal owners today. | Register
