Kansas State University Olathe aims to provide support to our students through scholarships designed to ensure learners can pursue an education without being limited due to financial constraints. This fall, K-State Olathe is providing even more scholarships, including funds for transfer students, hospitality management majors and Johnson County residents.
K-State Olathe will be hosting a one-day workshop to provide entry-level, hands-on training for college and graduate students on June 17. The Introduction to Basic Laboratory Skills and Contract Research Organizations Workshop will provide attendees with a basic overview of lab equipment, protocols and procedures.

Congratulations to Paige Adams, Ph.D., D.V.M., teaching associate professor of veterinary medicine, who is this month's Charlie Award recipient. This peer nominated award celebrates talented colleagues who creatively engage in their work, have a positive impact on their students and demonstrate leadership. One award is presented each month.
K-State Olathe is offering high school juniors and seniors a free summer course. Our noncredit online course about One Health is perfect for students who want a taste of what a college-level class will be like. They will learn how to work collaboratively using online resources and effectively manage their time in an online course while learning about the complex relationships between humans, animals and the environment.

The Community Building Team from K-State Olathe visited OHREC for an afternoon. The group toured the farm, enjoyed a picnic lunch and learned about the center's community involvement.
Congratulations to these new K-State Phi Kappa Phi members! the K-State Chapter was founded in 1915. K-State Olathe was proud to co-host the annual induction ceremony alongside the Manhattan campus.
