Olathe students recognized during inaugural awards
Kansas State University Olathe recently recognized outstanding graduate students with its first student awards, celebrating excellence in research, industry engagement and academic achievement.
“These awards celebrate the hard work and outstanding contributions our students make throughout their academic journeys,” said Kimberly Voight, director of student services. “We’re incredibly proud of their accomplishments and grateful to the faculty who took the time to recognize and nominate them.”

Call for animal nutrition experts: SRIS Scientific Review Panel
The Scientific Review of Ingredient Submissions (SRIS) program, a collaboration between the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) and K-State Olathe, is currently seeking qualified candidates to serve on its expert panel. Individuals with a background in animal nutrition or related scientific disciplines are encouraged to apply and contribute to the advancement of feed ingredient evaluation.

The annual summer leadership luncheon, hosted by K-State Olathe and the K-State Alumni Association, welcomed guests for an inspiring afternoon of networking and leadership insights. Kevin Honomichl, founder of BHC, shared how strengths-based leadership drives his company’s success.
The event also celebrated graduates of the "Management Strategies: Pathways to Leadership" program, now in its eighth year, recognizing their commitment to growing as emotionally intelligent leaders in the KC business community.
K-Staters gathered to celebrate all things purple at the “Wildcats on Tap” event, where a limited-edition K-State Olathe beer, created in collaboration with Manhattan Brewing Company, was unveiled.
K-State Olathe hosted a successful "Food as Medicine" Research Summit which brought together K-State faculty whose research aligns with the growing field of food as medicine.
Attendees explored existing research strengths within K-State and identified new opportunities for collaborative projects in this exciting and impactful area.
