Olathe campus celebrates new graduates and academic programs
K-State Olathe is honoring its newest graduates and looking toward future growth. This semester, 11 students graduated with graduate degrees and certificates from programs offered at the campus. Enrollment continues to trend upward as more programs are added that are designed to support students and their career goals and address workforce demand in the Greater Kansas City area.
Wildcats on Tap: Beer named for Olathe campus launches
K-Staters and friends are gathering to celebrate all things purple, including a limited edition K-State Olathe beer that comes from a collaboration with Manhattan Brewing Company. The event will be held from 5-7 p.m. on May 29 at Tall Trellis Brew Co. in Olathe and includes appetizers, giveaways and networking.

Animal Health Conference returns in September, features new speakers and topics
This year's Animal Health Regulatory Affairs Conference at K-State Olathe has expanded to include a new nutrition track and ingredient approval. Attendees also will hear from industry experts about product submissions and compliance related to pharmaceuticals and biologics.

Congratulations to Kim Voight, K-State Olathe director of student services, who received a Charlie Award. This university award celebrates talented colleagues who creatively engage in their work, have a positive impact on students and demonstrate leadership.
The K-State Produce Safety Team recently hosted the North Central Region (NCR) FSMA Annual Conference at the Olathe campus in partnership with the NCR FSMA Center. The two-day event convened produce safety educators, faculty, extension professionals and regulatory inspectors across the NCR region (12 states) for a robust program focused on technical knowledge sharing and professional development.
