Kansas State University Olathe graduate Chrissy Zemencik is the owner of Cake Loft, an Olathe-based business that has it all: cinnamon rolls, gourmet cookies, hot cocoa bombs. She finished her B.S. in Hospitality Management before making use of the Food Innovation Accelerator on campus to scale up her products. Now she's making an even broader impact on the Johnson County community with her new storefront in Olathe.
“We are incredibly proud of Chrissy Zemencik, a graduate of our B.S. in Hospitality Management program, who has turned her passion for hospitality into a thriving business,” said Kimberly Voight, director of student services at K-State Olathe. “Her journey opening her bakery is a testament to her dedication, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit. She embodies the excellence and ambition we strive to instill in all our students."
